Synopsis: 

A man wakes in a crypt with no memory of his life before this. Almost immediately, he is
greeted by a group of monks who initiate a ceremony in which the man is announced as the Paladin and given celestial armor. It is the Paladin’s duty to renew balance and harmony in a world which has become rife with evil, so he sets out to fulfill his role. Fighting grotesque, evil creatures at every turn, the Paladin eventually discovers the truth about his past: he was a cruel man who contributed to the evil in the world. As his final battle takes place, he uses the dagger left behind by his deceased daughter as a symbol of her hope that he would one day be able to redeem his violent nature. He uses the dagger to defeat his inner self, vowing to go to the depths of hell and back in order to end the cycle of evil perpetuated between heaven and hell.
